Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Sales Executive to support showroom sales operations across our dealership locations in Anuradhapura, Yakkala, and Ehiliyagoda. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling showroom walk-ins, customer inquiries, vehicle demonstrations, lead follow-ups, and sales conversions while ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the sales journey.
This role plays a key part in driving passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, and electric vehicle (EV) sales while contributing to dealership growth, customer satisfaction, and overall sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Handle showroom walk-in customers and customer inquiries professionally.
- Conduct vehicle presentations, product demonstrations, and test drives.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicle solutions across passenger, commercial, and EV segments.
- Manage lead follow-ups, customer relationship management activities, and sales conversions.
- Prepare quotations, coordinate financing support, manage sales documentation, and assist with vehicle deliveries.
- Maintain accurate sales records and CRM updates.
- Support showroom promotions, marketing campaigns, customer engagement activities, and showroom presentation standards.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly vehicle sales targets.
- Build relationships with leasing companies, banks, fleet customers, and local businesses to support financing and customer acquisition activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and operational teams on showroom events, digital lead generation, roadshows, and promotional campaigns.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, lead pipelines, customer inquiries, and market intelligence.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in automotive sales or showroom sales operations.
- Strong understanding of customer handling and sales processes.
- Ability to manage customer inquiries, lead follow-ups, and sales conversions.
- Good understanding of vehicle financing and leasing processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Target-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced showroom environment.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala; Tamil would be an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience in passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, or EV sales.
- Familiarity with CRM or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
- Existing relationships with leasing companies or financing institutions.
- Experience handling digital lead follow-ups and social media inquiries.
